Our Story

The heart of this business began long before the trailer - in a home filled with the smell of sofrito steaming in rice. Cooking was the center of family life, where love and tradition came together in every pot. Growing up as one of nine siblings, food was how we celebrated, healed, and stayed connected.

Now, some of those roots live on in this trailer. Each dish tells a story - of the farmers who grow the herbs, the rhythms of the islands, and the power of simple ingredients to bring people together. This business isn't just about selling plates - it's about sharing culture, love, and community through every bite.

Meet the Founder

My name is Kimberly Vazquez, and this food truck is a piece of my story. Some of my favorite memories growing up are from trips back home, where the kitchen was always the heart of everything.
I remember spending entire days watching meals come together slowly, hands moving with care, recipes passed down without ever being written, and the smell of food filling the whole house. But more than anything, I remember how those meals brought everyone together. Family, laughter, stories it all happened around the table.

That feeling is what I’ve carried with me into this truck. Every empanada we make is rooted in those memories, made fresh with the same intention, love, and respect for tradition that I grew up around. This isn’t just food to me—it’s a way of sharing where I come from and creating that same sense of connection with you.

Thank you for being part of this journey and allowing me to share a little piece of home with you.

With love,
-

Kimberly Vazquez
